Pinewood Weddings and Events is such a dreamy spot tucked away in a quiet pine forest, just an hour north of Minneapolis. Because it was designed by a former wedding photographer, the entire property is intentionally built for gorgeous photos and a seamless flow to your day. From the moment guests walk into the two-story lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows, they’re greeted with tons of natural light, cozy gathering areas, and that modern-meets-woodsy vibe Pinewood is known for.
The venue offers two main indoor spaces that give you tons of flexibility. The Main Gathering Hall on the first floor is perfect for a seated dinner for up to 225 guests, complete with direct access to the kitchen and indoor/outdoor bar. Head upstairs and you’ll find the Upper Gathering Hall, a bright ceremony space that can seat the same number of guests or transform into whatever kind of layout your day needs. Pinewood also includes thoughtful touches like an elevator, coat room, a private vendor storage room, and large restrooms, so everything behind the scenes stays easy and stress-free.
And then there are the lounges and outdoor areas that are perfect for getting ready spaces, as well as an outdoor ceremony option. The Forest Lounge on the first floor offers shuffleboard, patio access, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom, and upstairs, the Juniper Lounge is a vaulted, airy space with its own deck overlooking the courtyard. Once you step outside you’re surrounded by 10 acres of towering pine trees, a beautiful courtyard, and an outdoor patio with massive 14-foot doors that connect right into the Main Gathering Hall.
