Below are some of my most favorite Minnesota wedding venues and what you can expect when planning a wedding at each one!

Ivory North

Ivory North is a modern wedding venue that feels clean, bright, and has been designed with every detail in mind. Pinewood Weddings and Events creates a warm and welcoming setting for a wedding, surrounded by trees and open land. It has a perfect blend of natural beauty, with the modern, upscale feel of the reception space, plus it’s just an hour north of Minneapolis. There’s so many gorgeous natural wood elements woven into the space, fitting perfectly with the surroundings.

Ceremonies often take place outdoors amongst the trees, which feels incredibly peaceful and romantic. Receptions are hosted in the main event space, which feels cozy and inviting while still offering enough room for dinner, dancing, and just mingling. The venue also includes beautiful getting-ready areas that allow couples and their wedding parties to stay on site throughout the day.

Ashery Lane Farm

Just a short drive from the Twin Cities, Ashery Lane Farm is a countryside wedding venue that feels effortlessly elegant and offers plenty of natural beauty. The property is surrounded by farmland and open views, making it a great choice for couples wanting a quiet and peaceful space for their wedding day. The barns on the property are breathtaking with all of their unique details, plus the apple trees and vineyards on the grounds make an ideal spot for photos.

Ceremonies usually take place outdoors under the gazebo, showing off so much of the gorgeous surroundings on the property. Receptions are held inside the barn, where the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. The elegant chandeliers and all of the exposed beams create such a luxurious, yet cozy setting to celebrate with all of your favorite people. There are also getting-ready suites right on site to keep things convenient for you and your wedding party!

White & Sable

A Twin Cities wedding venue, White & Sable makes a statement with its sleek design and beautiful grounds. The main event spaces are impressive, with the reception hall having 3,000 square feet of airy, light-filled space with soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside, the turfed courtyard is a huge plus. It means no dead grass or muddy shoes, just a picture-perfect setting for your ceremony or cocktail hour, complete with café lights and views of the beautiful surroundings.

For stunning portraits, there’s a small field out back that makes for dreamy golden hour photos, while the grassy areas with trees are perfect for family and wedding party shots. Guests can mingle on the shaded porch or enjoy drinks from one of the portable bars outside, while couples slip away for a few sunset portraits. Every part of the venue feels designed for both beauty and convenience, making it easy to see why White & Sable is quickly becoming a go-to choice for Minnesota weddings.

Northern Pacific Center

Northern Pacific Center, located in Brainerd, Minnesota, is a historic wedding venue featuring gorgeous architectural character, with its exposed brick and original concrete floors. It makes the space feel incredibly romantic and is perfect for a cozy, indoor reception with all your loved ones. There are three other venue spaces on property, Two South, Luminary, and Three Main, each with their own unique gorgeous details and charm.

The getting ready suites are equally elegant, each with plenty of natural light and clean, modern details that make it ideal for capturing photos. There’s so much to love about this property, with so much uniqueness and all of the historical charm.

The Hutton House

The Hutton House is a bright, modern wedding venue in Medicine Lake, just outside Minneapolis. Couples can get ready in the private upstairs suites before hosting their ceremony either indoors or in the outdoor courtyard. The courtyard is a popular choice, with café lights, turf, a fire pit, and enough space for guests to gather comfortably. Everything is on one property, so the day flows easily from getting ready to the ceremony without needing to travel.

For the reception, most celebrations take place in the Lakeside Room, a large open space with high ceilings, a full bar, and plenty of room for dinner and dancing. The Fireside Room near the entrance has a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and glass doors that open to the courtyard, making it a great spot for cocktail hour. Guests can move easily between indoor and outdoor spaces, and the layout works well for both relaxed mingling and a full dance-floor reception.

Redeemed Farm

Redeemed Farm is a vineyard and farmstead wedding venue that sits on about 40 acres in the St. Croix Valley. You can choose from multiple ceremony locations, the Vineyard Lawn with a stone arch and manicured grass among vines, the Stable with a white, chapel-inspired indoor space with high ceilings and big doors overlooking the vineyard, or the Historic Barn Loft upstairs in the restored barn with cathedral ceilings and chandeliers. There are also dedicated getting-ready spaces including a French-style bridal suite and groom’s quarters, so the whole day can unfold on site without moving between locations.

The Vineyard Pavilion works well for cocktail hour or mingling with a large stone fireplace and café lights, while dinner typically happens on the main level of the historic barn with dining tables and a built-in bar. After dinner, couples often use the Stable or other indoor spaces for dancing, all with climate control and sound equipment.
